But recently everybody believes that I am Uchina-nchu because of my sun burned skin. So I am going to introduce myself in this assignment not from my looks but my life I have ever been. My home country is Eniwa city near Sapporo city. I grew up there until 3rd grade of high school. In that winter I passed entrance exam of University of Ryukyus. I also love to dress up my car and every weekend I wish it so hard . Resently , gas rises so high, that makes me drive less. In my opinion, it is difficult to explain who I am, because my life is complicated a little bit. I was born in Singapore, then my family moved to Tokyo when I was 2 years old. After that, we moved to Hong Kong, and I went to Japanese Elementary school and Japanese High school in Hong Kong. However, there was not any Japanese High school, thus I graduated from Canadian International High school. After graduating, I decided to come to Okinawa with my family, because my mother is from Okinawa. Now, I am living in Naha City with my younger sister, younger brother, and mother. My father is still working at Hong Kong so he is living apart. Now, I introduce about myself and my family members more specifically.
Firstly, I introduce about my brother and sister. My younger brother is going to Nahanishi High school in Okinawa, and he is a grade 11 student. He loves playing soccer and that is why he chose the high school. (His high school is famous for winning soccer tournament!) My younger sister is going to Elementary school, and she is a grade 6 student. She likes playing games with her cousin, and her characteristic is really cheerful and active. However, she got appendicitis in last summer so my family members were worried about her physical condition at that time. Anyway, I like them although we quarrel with each other sometimes.
Secondly, I introduce about my goal of this semester. My goal is to improve writing, reading, speaking skills in English. Writing an essay in English is pretty necessary for showing my opinion, and this skill is useful in the future. Therefore, I want to improve writing skill the most. I like writing in English, but my skill is not enough. I will do my best in this class, and I want to enjoy the class!!

My name is Shoko Miyagi. I’m sophomore here and majoring English Education. Actually, I had not been interested in English until I met an English teacher and heard a lot of her experience in foreign countries when I was a high school student. However, thanks to her interesting talk, I’m very interested in English now and want to go all over the world someday. That’s why I’m trying to study English harder than before.
In addition to studying English, I like watching baseball games and watching movies. As for baseball, I had become going to watch baseball games after my younger brother joined a baseball club in his elementary school. Even elementary school students’ games make me exciting. I’m really enjoying watching that. As for movies, actually, I haven’t watched movies so much. However, I often watch one movie one of my friends recommended to me recently. In my opinion, it is difficult to explain who I am, because my life is complicated a little bit. I was born in Singapore, then my family moved to Tokyo when I was 2 years old. After that, we moved to Hong Kong, and I went to Japanese Elementary school and Japanese High school in Hong Kong. However, there was not any Japanese High school, thus I graduated from Canadian International High school. After graduating, I decided to come to Okinawa with my family, because my mother is from Okinawa. Now, I am living in Naha City with my younger sister, younger brother, and mother. My father is still working at Hong Kong so he is living apart. Now, I introduce about myself and my family members more specifically.
Firstly, I introduce about my brother and sister. My younger brother is going to Nahanishi High school in Okinawa, and he is a grade 11 student. He loves playing soccer and that is why he chose the high school. (His high school is famous for winning soccer tournament!) My younger sister is going to Elementary school, and she is a grade 6 student. She likes playing games with her cousin, and her characteristic is really cheerful and active. However, she got appendicitis in last summer so my family members were worried about her physical condition at that time. Anyway, I like them although we quarrel with each other sometimes.
Secondly, I introduce about my goal of this semester. My goal is to improve writing, reading, speaking skills in English. Hi, my name is Marumi Takeyama. I am a student of University of Ryukyus. I belong to Faculty of law and letters. I am 20 years old and grown-up in Japan. So I can drink, but I can not drink alcoholic drink. Regrettably, I am allergic to alcoholic. So I envy other people who can drink and enjoy it.
Then I will talk about my pet. I have a white cat. He is “P-Suke.” He has nasal inflammation. So when he breathes, his noise makes sounds “P~!” So our family call him as “P-chan” instead of his real name. As you can see, I love cats. And I do love animals. So I like to go Zoo and aquarium.
Lastly, I will talk about our department’s extracurricular activities. Every year, we play musical in English traditionally. This activity began 25 years ago. So this year is the 25th anniversary of English play. In this year, we play “In To The Woods.” (Please search about it on the internet! It is famous on musical company.) I join this activity as stage director. My main work is to control of stage setting and make plan for lighting. We play on January 25th, at Uruma-city hall. So please come and enjoy our play! My hobby is listening to music and I often sing a song in a loud voice. A kind of music which I like is Japanese rap, rock, and pops sometimes in English. In fact, it is very interesting for me to read English phrase!! It’s so fun! I would like to have good pronunciation.
